  • Volia. Now New York can boast that it has its own “Ile de la Cite”. Many years ago I played Rugby on the field there and had a great time afterwards at the PX. It was a very nice place and it only cost .25 cents for a bottle of Beer which made for a lot of happy rugby players.I have not seen the new Ile yet but am looking forward to sitting in a nice shady spot to play a game of Chess like they do in Washington Sq. Park. Good Luck

  • Greetings … so pleased you are allowing citizens of NYC to comment. This all looks challenging and interesting. As a senior who has spent my life in New York, I have seen constant improvement in public spaces … except in Central Park which has, in my opinion, been ruined by too much fencing. I hope you will allow for areas of “un-controlled” open space in your planning. We are so boxed in in NYC, it is lovely just to walk where it “seems” wild, even if it is carefully planned. Again, thank you.
